Maybe his apparently endless repertoire goes back to having started a career at a very young age, but maybe he is just one of a kind musician: Piano and keyboard player Max Tempia delights critics and audiences – in concert halls and on TV – with entertaining virtuosity.
Max Tempia, was born in Biella (Italy) on January 6th 1965, began his musical studies at the age of 4 and when he was 15 he was already a professional musician.
After attending classical studies at the Conservatorio, Max dedicates his attention to pop music and in his twenties started to work as a session player in recording studios collaborating with many artists.
In 1989 he starts to appear on TV as a member of the "Dino Siani’s Orchestra", playing in several shows for public and private broadcasters. In the same year he began working as a programmer and worldwide demonstrator, bringing his musical knowledge in many products and soon becoming an important and influential point of reference in this field. In 2001 starts to play with the most important Italian orchestra, the "Demo Morselli Big Band", in countless successful TV shows.
From 2009 he is a demonstrator and consultant for the “Musical Instrument” division of Casio Italia and Casio Europe, becoming “Music Ambassador” of Casio digital pianos. In the last years, Max Tempia became a point of reference for the Italian keyboards scene: his experience as a “Hammond Player” is of great artistic value, and he is considered as one of the best jazz organ players in Italy.
Since 2015 he is the musical director of the “Zago Boogie Band” orchestra in the Maurizio Costanzo Show on Mediaset TV. Max Tempia played with leading Italian and international artists and is an appreciated composer for TV serials and commercials; he also appeared in many TV shows playing piano and keyboards.
